It is with heavy hearts the family of Anne Marie Green announces her peaceful passing on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Rocmaura Nursing Home, with her children by her side, along with her cousin Alice LeBlanc, who was there for her, and was a loving support to her family in her final days. Born in Saint John, NB, on December 10, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Lena (Gooden) Parks.
A nurse by trade, a caregiver by heart, Anne had a passion for helping people. She was a pillar of strength for her family, and always there with a smile to offer comfort to those who needed it. Her Nursing career spanned almost 40 years. She found her niche in mental health and addiction services, which she retired from in 2019. In her short stay at Rocmaura, she touched the heart of many staff and residents. Those that had the pleasure to know her, loved her.
Anne is survived by her sons David and Jason Green; daughter Tara Prosser (Gary); daughter-in-law Geri Mitchell-Green; brother-in-law Steve London; grandchildren Nicole Green, Matthew Green, Samuel Prosser, Benjamin Prosser and Kaylee Prosser as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Anne was predeceased by her brothers William “Billy” and Peter Parks, and sisters Margaret Parks and Theresa London.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Rocmaura Nursing Home and Dobbelsteyn’s Special Care Home for their compassion and excellent care of Anne during her time there.
